Customize Your Back End Menus on Squarespace [Build Your Own Layout!]
One of the most annoying things when building a Squarespace website is finding the page or feature that you’re looking for.
Squarespace offers so many native and paid-for features that there’s a lot to navigate through.
Well now you can customize your back end menus on Squarespace, allowing you to only display what you need.
Think of it a bit like your mobile phone home screen where you display the apps you actually use, now you can do the same with Squarespace.
Let’s take a look.

In your Squarespace edit dashboard you should notice that there’s a new icon in the top left hand corner above the back end menu. This is an “edit menu” icon.
Click on this and you’ll see that you have a list of all the features and pages in your Squarespace menu.
Here you can toggle each one on or off, deciding if you want it to be displayed or not.
There are a few that are blacked out, such as website, finance and analytics, as these are compulsory. Everything else is fair game.
Not only can you toggle them on or off, you can also move them around to change the order too.

And that’s it, it’s as simple as that but this new feature should make the experience of using Squarespace to build websites even more enjoyable!
