Redirect Users After Contact Form Submission on Squarespace
Once a user fills out a contact form on your Squarespace website, the thank you message that appears as default can be underwhelming.
Often users will have to actually scroll up to see it, thus confirming they have submitted the form, and there’s a lot of blank space that doesn’t make for a great user experience.
That’s why I recommend redirecting users once the form is submitted. Here’s how I do it.

The first thing you need to do is create the thank you page that you want to present users with once the form is submitted.
Build the page within your unlinked pages and add the various blocks and content that you want to show.
I recommended a main image, some text blocks and most importantly, some buttons to move the user through your ecosystem. Those buttons could be directed to your about page, your FAQs or to prompt a newsletter sign-up.
Once you’ve set up the page, head to your contact page and click on your contact form.
In the panel that appears select post submit. Here you want to select redirect and add the link to your thank your page in the field.
Hit save and you’re all done.

It’s super simple and whilst not an essential, it’s a great way of improving the overall user experience of your website.
