Change DNS Records on Squarespace | Simple Expert Guide

Squarespace is one of the largest domain registrars in the world and even if you don’t have a Squarespace website, you may still use Squarespace Domains.

Sometimes you may need to change your DNS records, this is how you do it on Squarespace.

Head to account.squarespace.com to access your account dashboard. 

Select domains and here you’ll be able to see all of the domains that you have access to.

You can scroll through them or use the search bar to find the one you want to work on.

Click the domain and select DNS from the left hand menu. Here you’ll have options for:

  • DNS Settings

  • Domain Nameservers

  • Nameserver Registration

  • DNSSEC

If you want to add records into your DNS, simply scroll down to custom records, select add record and add in the relevant information for host, type, priority and data.

Hit save and you’ll have added a record into your DNS on Squarespace.
