Customize Account Sidebar on Squarespace

Squarespace is packed full of features which, while brilliant, means the backend menu can feel a little chaotic, especially for those users who don’t need advanced features such as ecommerce.

If that’s you then you might be interested to know that you can in fact customize your sidebar menu to remove the features you don’t use, making it easier to find the ones you do.

To customize your account sidebar on Squarespace, click the icon at the bottom of your sidebar that is three squares and the + icon.

By selecting this you’ll be able to customize the sidebar, toggling each feature either on or off. Simply go down the list and toggle off the features you don’t use.

And that’s it, you’ll have customized your backend menu, making it easier to navigate around Squarespace and find the features you need.
