Enable Clickjack Protection on Squarespace

Have you ever been on a website and when you click a pop-up you’re bombarded with new pop-ups, ads, or even taken to a whole new website?

It’s particularly common on streaming sites and its official name is clickjacking. Essentially, a user's clicks are being hijacked.

As a website owner, you want to be sure that this doesn’t happen on your Squarespace site. Luckily with a simple toggle, you can ensure your website is protected.

To protect your Squarespace website from clickjacking head to Settings > Developer Tools > Website Protection and here there’s just one option, Clickjack Protection.

All you need to do is make sure this is toggled on and your website will be protected.
