How to Add a Squarespace Announcement Bar: Step-by-Step

Adding an announcement bar to your Squarespace website is a great way to showcase a key message, such as a new offer, free delivery etc.

If you want to add an announcement bar to your Squarespace website, this is how you do it.

To add an announcement bar head to Marketing > Marketing Tools > Announcement Bar and in the drop down menu that appears on the left of the screen select “enable announcement bar”.

How to Add a Squarespace Announcement Bar

Here you’ll see a text box where you can add the text that you want to appear in your bar. You can also make your text bold, italic or underlines and add a link.

If you want to make the whole bar clickable, simply add the URL to the URL field below the text box.

Once you’re done, hit save and you’ll have added an announcement bar to your Squarespace website.
