How to Use AI to Write Product Descriptions for Your Squarespace Store

We all know that AI is here to stay, which is why Squarespace is integrating AI features throughout their features.

One place where you can utilize AI within Squarespace is your product descriptions.

Let’s take a look at how you can use Squarespace AI to write your product descriptions for you.

Within your ecommerce store head to your products, select the product you want to work on and hit the three dots that appear next to it in the left hand menu. Select Edit.

Within the product description field, click on the three dots icon that will open up Squarespace AI.

The AI tool will ask you what you need, so here you need to input the details you want your product description to include, for example:

“Write a 50word product description for a terracotta 100ml jug made in Peru. SEO optimize for terracotta jug”

You can edit the AI response, adding a human touch to the copy.

Once you’re happy with the result, hit save and you product description is all done and will appear on your product listing!
